Scholarship Information

Step up for Students offers various scholarships.  The following are some of the scholarships offered: 


➢ FTC: Florida Tax Credit Scholarship:   

  • ✓ FTC Information Handbook  ▪ K-12 students regardless of household income, who are residents of Florida and  eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school, can receive a scholarship worth an average  of $8,000 to attend a private school that best meets their academic needs.  ▪ Priority will be given to families whose household income is 400% of poverty or  below as outlined in the income priority guidelines 

 

➢ FES-EO: Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options  

  • ✓ FES-EO Information Handbook  ▪ Available to all students, regardless of household income, who are residents of  Florida and eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school.  


➢ FES-UA: Unique Abilities Scholarship 

  • ✓ FES-UA Information Handbook   ▪ Available to Florida students age 3 through grade 12 or age 22, whichever comes  first, who have a specific medical or learning diagnosis.   ▪ You must have a medical record within 3 years, supporting the diagnosis. Additional  information can be found here:  https://www.stepupforstudents.org/scholarships/unique-abilities/  ▪ A current IEP will also need to be submitted to SUFS as additional support for the  diagnosis.

FES-UA: Unique Abilities Scholarship 

  • ✓ FES-UA Information Handbook   ▪ Allows more flexibility for on site and remote learning. Students are only required to come to campus 2 days a week for onsite learning.  ▪ Allows more flexibility for on site and remote learning.   • A Student Learning Plan (SLP) must be created for your application to be complete. If you need assistance with your SLP, please contact the office for assistance.
